Mission Description                      

To support the Commodity Warehouse Manager by ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), effective warehouse planning, accurate inventory control, and cost-conscious operations. The role is responsible for controlling and documenting all authorized warehouse transactions and ensuring accurate and timely system processing, supporting audits, and ensuring all warehouse activities operate within the approved budget while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
1. Update/ensure update of WMS transactions
2.Compare physical tally with the authorized release and validate the dispatch documentation.
3. Validate that the transaction is posted against the correct client/lot/mark.
4. Support warehouse planning, layout, and storage optimization to maximize space utilization.
5. Monitor warehouse activities to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with operational requirements.
6. Act as the Warehouse Manager deputy when required.
7. Ensure all warehouse operations strictly follow approved SOPs and internal controls.
8. Support implementation of corrective actions arising from audit findings.
9. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements within warehouse operations.
10. Review inventory variance and stock aging reports and escalate findings to the Warehouse Manager.
11. Support digitization and automation initiatives.
12. Communicate operational issues and resolutions effectively.

 

Profile

• Certificate/ Diploma /Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in warehouse operations, preferably with coffee.
• Knowledge of green coffee bean handling and storage practices.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and fire regulations in warehouse settings.
