Mission description

To operate heavy-duty trucks to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of cargo, in strict compliance with traffic regulations, company safety standards, and operational procedures in line with Africa Global Logistics policies.

 

Profile

OPEN ONLY TO SIERRA LEONEANS

•Operate company trucks for the movement of cargo according to assigned operational schedules.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical or technical issues.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and cargo delivery in the driver's logbook.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, company transport policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Support the Logistics and Operations teams to ensure efficient turnaround of cargo deliveries.

Experience and Requirements:
• At least three (3) years of proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks in a commercial or logistics environment.
• Possession of a valid national heavy-duty driver's license.
• Medically certified as fit for professional driving duties.
• Preferred age range: 25–45 years.
