Mission Description                      

Job Purpose:
Arranging import/cross trade shipments through the AGL Network

 

Profile

Job Function:
• Register import/cross trade shipments
• Track and Trace on import/cross trade shipments
• Adhering to department/customer SOP's and KPI'S
• PO Indenting on customer request/customer SOP through the AGL Network
• Monitor traffic analysis with customers
• Monitor additional business with customers
• Liaise with customer regarding status of shipments
• Ensure data quality correct in AGL system
• Ensure systems events are updated at time of event
• Ensure customer rate cards loaded and correct in AGL system
• Ensure customer service levels are maintained correctly
• Manage and ensure IATA regulations adhered to
• Keeping the company's best interests in mind
• Reporting any incidents to the BU supervisor/manager
• Any other delegated tasks deemed as reasonable as assigned by the reporting manager
• Final file close after reconciliation

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• Matric
• Relevant qualification
• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in Import controlling, gained within the clearing and forwarding environment
