Description de la mission

The Communications Manager designs, implements and supervises the company's communications strategies. He/she ensures that the company is promoted in the marketplace, both in terms of products and services, including the various media, non-media and institutional levers. The Communications Manager promotes the brand and the brands of the subsidiaries to partners and institutions as well as to the general public. The person must be the communications point of reference for local management teams and able to present the company's assets in an innovative way, whatever the innovations in the technological field. He or she will be responsible for rolling out the company's sponsorship / Philanthropy program, which is the main vehicle for the company's socio-economic footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop communication strategies and action plans + annual budget in collaboration with the functional N+1
• Implement and supervise communication plans
• Act as a relay for regional communications
• Develop and produce (internal and external) communication media and supports (press releases, press kits, newspapers, news, brochures, posters, newsletters, etc.)
• Setting objectives and monitor the results of the various actions or campaigns
• Design, prepare and participate in marketing initiatives to promote the company's image and expertise (events, visits, inaugurations, trade fairs, exhibitions, etc.)
• Develop a strong network of partners (media and press)
• Ensure media monitoring and media relations (breakfast conferences, press lunches, etc.)
• Promoting the company's corporate social responsibility initiatives
• Promote the company's efforts to reduce its environmental impact
• Working with the company's stakeholders, such as customers, NGOs and local authorities, to reinforce the company's social and environmental responsibility
• Manage the communication budget and resources (Media, Creative Studio, Events, sponsorship / Philanthropy program).

 

Profil

• 5 years' higher education, ideally with a specialization in communication or marketing
• At least 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of budget management and profitability monitoring tools
• Bilingual spoken and written (English and Portuguese)
• Good writing skill, Proficiency in the Office pack and business software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
• Good knowledge of social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Good knowledge of photography/video (shooting, small-scale editing) is a plus
• Fluency in public speaking is a plus
• French is an asset
