Mission description
The overall purpose of the job is to direct activities related to dispatching, routing, sourcing, pricing and tracking transportation vehicles for optimal return on investment.
Profile
1. Drive the design, development, organization, implementation and management of transport solutions
2. Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems
3. Ascertain industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs and drive customer satisfaction
4. Work in conjunction with various parties such as business development, field support and customer service to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.
5. Track, analyze and communicate key performance metrics.
6. Ensure compliance with statutory & Company rules and regulations.
6. Prepare, monitor and control the operational budget.
7. Achieve the budgeted CGM
8. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, rules, government regulations and company policies and procedures.
9.Ensure timely and accurate communication of daily flash reports
