About The Position

Timor Port S.A, a subsidiary of the AGL Group, is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Quality Assurance/Control Manager. The position is responsible to provide quality technical support to the other departments and ensure relevancy for quality aspects between all branches and departments of the entity and that only one Quality Management System is implemented throughout the entity. The position will also oversight the continuity improvement of the Quality processes and practices within the company.



The main responsibilities of the role will be:

Determine the improvement issues in the Quality field and propose solutions to better monitor the processes.
Lead and monitor the ISO certification: ensure initial certification and maintenance of the certification.
Manage all relationship and certification issues and planning with certification bodies (ISO and others).
Very and ensure that the Quality Management System is in line with the international standards, the National requirements and AGL Corporate standards.
Define all internal quality rules and standards and ensure their implementation.
Ensure the implementation of the Quality Corporate Mandatory procedures.
Define the monitoring means and ensure they are enforced.
Follow-up and manage Quality measures, correction of non-compliance and improvement action plan implementation.
Assist the top management and line management for the definition and the implementation of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Define and implement the methods of Quality Control.
Plan and coordinate entity internal audits and third-party audits for certification.
Prepare monthly reports and transmit them to the Entity General Manager and AGL Corporate QHSE dpt.
Organize Processes review at least every 6 months and management review once a year.

Profil

A tertiary qualification in Science of Business, Statistic or Quality Assurance with at least 6 years of experience in the field.
Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role.
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
Outstanding communications skills.
Great attention to detail and a result driven approach.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
