MISSIONS
JOB FUNCTION &amp; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Based at the AGL Expertise Center, you will join the AI Factory within the Digital &amp; Innovation Department as an AI Product Owner.

Your mission will be to design and drive AI products by identifying high-value use cases, redesigning business processes with AI capabilities, and ensuring their successful delivery, adoption, and measurable impact at scale.

As part of the AI Factory, your responsibilities will include:
• Identify and qualify AI use cases with business teams, analyze processes, and translate needs into clear and actionable product requirements rooted in real operational challenges.
• Analyze and redesign business processes to identify where AI (LLMs, agents, automation) can drive tangible efficiency and transformation.
• Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, feasibility, data availability, and delivery constraints to maximize impact.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of AI use cases, coordinating cross-functional teams (AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects, MLOps) and ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and expected outcomes. 
• Lead validation phases with business stakeholders (UAT), collect feedback, challenge solutions, and ensure delivered products effectively solve real business problems. 
• Prepare and coordinate releases, contribute to rollout strategies, and support adoption through communication, training, and interaction with end users.
• Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions, balancing key AI trade-offs such as quality, performance, cost, and reliability.
• Ensure alignment with AI Factory governance, lifecycle, and standards, while acting as the voice of the business throughout the product lifecycle.

EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Data, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product ownership, project management, business analysis, or digital transformation, with a track record of delivering end-to-end initiatives. 
• Proven experience working at the interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, with the ability to translate operational needs into structured requirements and delivered solutions. 
• Experience identifying improvement opportunities in operational processes and driving automation or digitalization initiatives is strongly valued. 
• Exposure to AI, data, or analytics products is a strong advantage, with an understanding of how AI can be applied to real business use cases. 
• Experience in managing complex or cross-functional projects in a multi-site or international environment is highly desirable. 
• Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing strategic thinking and delivery execution&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
PROFILE
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
• Good understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, agents, automation), with the ability to identify relevant use cases and challenge technical solutions from a product perspective. 
• Familiarity with AI platforms and ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry) and their application to enterprise use cases is a strong advantage.
• Strong proficiency in product management and agile practices, including backlog management, user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, and participation in agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban or hybrid approaches). 
• Ability to translate business needs into structured functional and product requirements, and to interact effectively with technical teams (AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects) on solution design and delivery. 
• Proficiency with product and collaboration tools and ability to manage backlog, documentation, and delivery tracking. 
• Ability to define and monitor product performance through KPIs and dashboards (e.g., adoption, efficiency, ROI), ideally using reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent. 
• Familiarity with enterprise digital tools and environments (Microsoft 365 ecosystem, SharePoint, workflows, etc.) and understanding of how AI integrates within business applications. 
• Understanding of automation and digital transformation tools (e.g., workflow automation, low-code platforms) and their role in enhancing operational efficiency.

Put into production in March 2025, Connect Logistics is an orchestrator bus that collects, cleans, and consolidates data from our operational systems (TMS), before delivering it on a web portal dedicated to our clients.
In a transformation context, the project enters a new phase:
•	Expand its scope functionally,
•	Become a central component of the Transit &amp; ecosystem Freight Forwarding, orchestrating data exchanges between logistics applications and ensuring the reliability of shared information.
Under the responsibility of the Connect Logistics Solution Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of new integrations and strategic product enhancements for the Azure Integration Platform. You will oversee the full lifecycle of product evolutions, from business requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing and deployment, ensuring successful transition to the RUN organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and operational support, you will ensure that new capabilities are delivered on time, aligned with business priorities and fully integrated into the product roadmap.

Roadmap Management
•	Gather, analyze and challenge new strategic business requirements and integration initiatives.

Development Management

Qualifications &amp; Experience
•	Master's degree (Engineering School, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent).

•	Functional knowledge of Logistics and/or International Transportation, preferably within a Freight Forwarding environment is a plus.
•	Experience working in Agile environments and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in an international context.
Technical Skills
•	Strong experience in functional analysis and specification, including User Stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and change management.

MISSIONS

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

MISSIONS
Based at the AGL Expertise Center, you will join the AI Factory within the Digital &amp; Innovation Department as an AI Architect.

Your mission will be to define, design, and govern the overall AI architecture of the AI Factory, ensuring that all AI solutions are scalable, secure, interoperable, and aligned with AGL's information system and industrial standards.

As part of the AI Factory, your responsibilities will include:
AI architecture design &amp; governance
•	Define and own the AI Factory's target architecture, including reference architectures, design principles, and technical standards applicable across all AI use cases
•	Design end-to-end AI solution architectures, covering data ingestion, model training, inference, serving layers, and monitoring components
•	Ensure consistency, scalability, and reuse across the AI portfolio by standardizing architecture patterns and avoiding fragmented implementations
•	Act as technical leader and submit architecture document to the Architecture and Security Board

Technology strategy &amp; make-or-buy decisions
•	Lead technology evaluation and selection processes, including foundation models, platforms, and tooling, based on performance, cost, and security constraints
•	Define and maintain the AI Factory technology stack (LLMs, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, MLOps platforms, cloud services)
•	Drive build vs. buy decisions and define model selection strategies across proprietary and open-source ecosystems
•	Maintain a technology radar to anticipate and integrate relevant innovations into AGL's AI architecture 

GenAI, RAG &amp; agentic architecture patterns
•	Design and standardize RAG architectures (indexing strategies, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval optimization) for knowledge-intensive use cases
•	Architect agent-based systems, including reasoning workflows, tool integration, memory management, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms
•	Define prompt strategies, guardrails, and output validation to ensure reliability and consistency of GenAI applications
•	Establish reusable patterns for multi-agent orchestration and complex AI workflows 

System integration &amp; enterprise alignment
•	Design integration architectures connecting AI solutions to AGL's core systems (ERP, TMS, data platforms, operational tools)
•	Define API standards, event-driven architectures, and data contracts between AI services and enterprise applications
•	Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and IT standards in collaboration with infrastructure and architecture teams
AI security, compliance &amp; model protection
•	Define and enforce AI-specific security standards, including model access control, data protection, and API security
•	Design protection mechanisms against AI-specific risks (prompt injection, adversarial inputs, data leakage)
Technical leadership &amp; AI Factory maturity

PROFILE
EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 
•	Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field. 
•	Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in software architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML engineering, including at least 3 years in an architecture or technical leadership role. 
•	Proven track record in designing and deploying large-scale, production-grade AI or data-driven systems within complex enterprise environments, with strong exposure to system integration and distributed architectures. 
•	Solid experience with modern AI paradigms, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures, with the ability to translate these into industrialized architecture patterns. 
•	Strong background in cloud architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure, including the design and integration of AI workloads into enterprise or hybrid IT environments. 
•	Experience working with enterprise information systems (ERP, data platforms, APIs, event-driven architectures) and designing integration patterns between AI services and existing business systems.
•	Exposure to governance, security, and regulatory constraints (data protection, auditability, AI compliance) applied to AI systems is strongly valued.
•	Experience in multinational or multi-site environments, ideally within large-scale organisations or industrial contexts, with the ability to operate across diverse stakeholders and geographies.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
•	Deep expertise in designing large-scale AI/ML architectures, including end-to-end pipelines from data ingestion to model serving, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. 
•	Strong mastery of cloud architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure, including AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML), API management, and deployment of AI workloads in enterprise environments. 
•	Advanced knowledge of LLM ecosystems and GenAI architectures, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, multi-model orchestration, prompt strategies, and system-level optimization trade-offs. 
•	Proven experience with AI orchestration frameworks and tooling and their integration into production systems.

JOB FUNCTION &amp; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AGL is continuing to modernize its digital platforms and has recently adopted Sitecore as its group CMS. 

In this context, we are gradually deploying all subsidiary websites on this platform, with a strong ambition for harmonization, performance, and user experience. 

Within the Kigali Shared Service Center (KSSC) and reporting to the Digital &amp; Innovation Department, you will support this strategic deployment as a web developer with Sitecore expertise. Your responsibilities will include: 

Website development &amp; deployment 
•	Contribute to the implementation of subsidiary websites on Sitecore 
•	Develop and integrate pages, components, and templates 
•	Adapt and roll out group design systems for each subsidiary 

Platform maintenance &amp; evolution 
•	Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of websites

JOB FUNCTION &amp; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
As the Program Officer for the Yiri Innovation Center, your main mission will be to coordinate the center's various programs in support of the innovation center responsible. Your experience in innovation processes and programs will assist you in managing the different activities related to the Yiri Innovation Center. 

Program Management and Support: 

Contribute to the design of support programs: objectives, needs, deliverables, journey, toolkit, etc.

6. Communicate risks and recommendations to mitigate risks to senior management so decisions can be made to ensure the security of information systems.
7.Oversee ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the information security policies and procedures by ensuring these policies and procedures encompass the overall security of information security at rest or in motion within the groups systems and check compliance of departments local processes and procedures to ensure they are not in conflict with Company policies.
8.Evaluate security incidents and determine what response, if any, is needed and coordinate responses, including technical incident response teams, when sensitive information is breached.

10.Apply and assist in implementing BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) procedures within the region.
