Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Tracking and Journey Management
•	Monitor and track the daily movement of the fleet through the IVMS platform.
•	Ensure all vehicles are deployed according to approved journey plans.
•	Monitor vehicle locations, trip progress, transit times, and delivery schedules.
•	Identify, investigate, and report route deviations, unauthorized movements, excessive idling, and operational exceptions.
•	Support the Journey Management Planner by ensuring adherence to approved journey management procedures.
•	Provide real-time fleet visibility and operational status updates to relevant stakeholders.
•	Maintain accurate fleet movement records and generate daily tracking reports.

2. Deployment Monitoring
•	Monitor the timely deployment of trucks and equipment according to operational requirements.
•	Track vehicle dispatch and arrival times to ensure efficient utilization.
•	Ensure all journeys are initiated, monitored, and completed in line with company journey management standards.
•	Escalate delays and operational disruptions to the relevant departments for immediate action.

3. Loading, Offloading, and Border Monitoring
•	Monitor truck turnaround times at loading and offloading points.
•	Track border crossing activities and identify delays affecting delivery schedules.
•	Communicate operational delays to transport operations, logistics teams, and customers where required.
•	Maintain records of loading, offloading, and border performance metrics.
•	Recommend corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve fleet efficiency.

4. Driver Documentation and Compliance Management
•	Ensure drivers upload all required trip-related documents into the company's fleet management systems within specified timelines.
•	Verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents.
•	Follow up on outstanding documents and compliance requirements.
•	Maintain electronic and physical driver records where applicable.

5. Driver Performance and Behaviour Monitoring
•	Monitor driver behaviour through IVMS and telematics reports, including: 
•	Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly driver performance reports.
•	Escalate safety violations and non-compliance issues to management.
•	Support driver coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Fleet Utilization Management
•	Monitor fleet utilization and vehicle productivity.
•	Identify underutilized vehicles and recommend optimization measures.
•	Analyze fleet performance &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any of the following fields:
•	Logistics and Supply Chain Management
•	Transportation Management
•	Automotive Engineering
•	Mechanical Engineering
•	Logistics Operations
•	Fleet Management
•	Any other related discipline

Experience
•	Minimum 3 years' experience in Fleet Management, Transport Operations, or IVMS Administration.
•	Proven experience managing and monitoring a large commercial fleet using an IVMS platform.
•	Hands-on experience in vehicle tracking, journey management, transport compliance, and driver performance monitoring.
•	Experience within logistics, transportation, mining, oil &amp; gas, FMCG, or large-scale fleet operations will be an added advantage.
Added Advantage
•	Previous experience working with MiX Telematics or similar fleet telematics systems.

The C&amp;F Manager provides strategic and operational leadership over the company's sea import, export, and transport functions. The role ensures that all processes — from documentation and customs clearance to cargo delivery — are executed efficiently, profitably, and in full compliance with statutory and client requirements. 

1.	Strategic &amp; Operational Leadership
•	Provide overall leadership to the Sea Imports, Exports, and Transport functions, ensuring coordinated, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
•	Translate company strategy into measurable operational objectives for each department, ensuring alignment and synergy across functions.
•	Lead monthly operational reviews with department heads to assess performance, highlight bottlenecks, and implement improvement actions.

2.	Sea Imports Oversight
•	Supervise the Sea Imports Manager to ensure that all import activities — from pre-alert to final delivery — are executed accurately and within timelines.
•	Approve or review major import files, especially those involving high-value cargo, client escalations, or potential financial exposure.
•	Validate that customs documentation, valuation, and tariff classification comply with KRA and port regulations.

3.	Sea Exports Management
•	Oversee export operations to ensure accurate and timely documentation, customs clearance, and vessel loading.
•	Supervise the Exports Supervisor in planning and coordinating export bookings, container allocations, and shipping instructions.
•	Review export performance indicators (volume, accuracy, cost, turnaround time) and drive corrective actions for improvement.

4.	Transport Supervision
•	Provide oversight to the Transport Supervisor, ensuring efficient dispatch, routing, and coordination of transport activities.
•	Review transport utilization, turnaround times, and cost efficiency across the delivery network.

5.	Performance &amp; Financial Management
•	Prepare annual departmental budgets and monitor expenditure, ensuring alignment with company profitability targets.
•	Review revenue reports, validate billing accuracy, and control disbursement exposure on all job files.

6.	Compliance, Risk &amp; Quality Control
•	Ensure compliance with customs, port, and transport regulations, and maintain zero non-conformity in audits.
•	Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as cost per shipment, operational gross margin, and customer satisfaction.

7.	Client &amp; Stakeholder Management
•	Serve as the senior escalation point for client issues within imports, exports, or transport operations.
•	Maintain strategic relationships with key clients, shipping lines, transporters, and regulatory bodies.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Trade, or Business Administration.
• Diploma in Clearing &amp; Freight Forwarding (KIFWA or equivalent).
• FIATA, CIPS, or equivalent logistics certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8–10 years' experience in C&amp;F operations, including sea freight and transport.
• At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or managerial role overseeing multiple logistics functions.
• Demonstrated experience in customs clearance processes, shipping line coordination, and multimodal logistics.

Envoyer les avis d'arrivée et contacter les clients afin de prévenir de la venue d'un navire

Soumettre au Directeur Shipping les factures pro-forma pour validation une fois la solvabilité immédiate du client prouvé

Faire établir un reçu par la caisse ou par la comptabilité lorsqu'un client règle ses factures de consignation et/ou de manutention

Informer par courriel la comptabilité de chaque paiement reçu d'un client pour le règlement d'une facture pour lettrage comptable

Soumettre au Shipping Directeur les dossiers « Documentation » une fois complets pour clôture, validation et archivage

Effectuer le recouvrement des factures impayées auprès des clients et tenir à jour l'état de compte des factures impayées

Collecter auprès des transitaire/réceptionnaire/autres acteurs concernés tous les éléments nécessaires à la clôture des dossiers « Documentation » pour chaque navire

Exécuter toutes les autres tâches assignées par son supérieur hiérarchique afin d'assurer le bon fonctionnement du service&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
