MISSIONS

Gérer un dossier d'exploitation en Commission de Transport maritime&amp; aérien , pour des clients 
spécifiques, au sein d'une organisation en Control Tower

▪ Réception d'un ordre de transport en provenance d'un client sous contrat ou occasionnel. 
▪ Gestion du process d'Expediting lié au contrat avec le client 
▪ Vérification de la faisabilité à pouvoir traiter le dossier : compte fournisseur enregistré et mandat 
de représentation en douane existant. 

▪ Ouverture du dossier d'exploitation dans le TMS 
▪ Vérification ou obtention de l'exhaustivité et la conformité des documents du fournisseur, ou du 
clients, nécessaires pour réaliser expédition. 

▪ Transmettre tous les documents, communiquer les instructions et s'assurer de l'effectivité des 
prestations confiées aux partenaires de référence du contrat et autres ou sous -traitants : 
Douane / Transporteur / Entrepôt / Organisme de vérification ou émetteur d'attestations liées à 
l'expédition. 
▪ Booking auprès de la compagnie maritime / aérienne 
▪ Organiser le positionnement du conteneur ou l'enlèvement des marchandises 
▪ Assurer en temps réel la communication sur le déroulement du dossier avec le client et/ou son 
fournisseur, le réseau. 
▪ Réception des documents de transport (MBL, HBL, MAWB, HAWB) 
▪ Gestion des Bordereaux de Suivi de Cargaison 
▪ Emission de la facture au client 
▪ Envoi des documents au client ou au réseau. 
▪ Gestion des factures fournisseurs, réception, vérification, imputation au dossier, transmission à 
la comptabilité 
▪ Respecter les SOP mise en place dans le cadre de la gestion d'un client sous contrat 
▪ Reporter dans le système toutes les actions / évènements requis pour le monitoring des flux 
dans le cadre du contrat avec le client. 
▪ Être force de proposition auprès de son N+1 pour des suggestions d'améliorations de 
l'exploitation d'un trafic sous contrat. 
▪ Respecter toutes les consignes ou procédures opérationnelles et financières de l'entreprise. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
PROFIL

▪BAC + 2/+ 3 en Transport / Logistique / Commerce International
▪2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans une activité similaire, de préférence en transit maritime export
▪Anglais courant 
▪Maîtrise des outils du pack Office 
▪Expérience dans l'utilisation d'un TMS opérationnel

Job Purpose:

Job Function:

•	Approve or review major import files, especially those involving high-value cargo, client escalations, or potential financial exposure.
•	Validate that customs documentation, valuation, and tariff classification comply with KRA and port regulations.

3.	Sea Exports Management
•	Oversee export operations to ensure accurate and timely documentation, customs clearance, and vessel loading.
•	Supervise the Exports Supervisor in planning and coordinating export bookings, container allocations, and shipping instructions.
•	Review export performance indicators (volume, accuracy, cost, turnaround time) and drive corrective actions for improvement.

4.	Transport Supervision
•	Provide oversight to the Transport Supervisor, ensuring efficient dispatch, routing, and coordination of transport activities.

Job Purpose:
The Cost Controller will be responsible to assist with all systems, policies, processes, software digital and information systems to enable accurate and informed decisions, cost management, optimal operational effectiveness, and heightened customer satisfaction. The systems implemented must support the effective management of the TMS, payroll, operational execution, trip information, rates, invoicing with revenue and cost management. Job Purpose:

The Customs Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate and compliant execution of all customs clearance activities related to international shipments. This includes managing a customs team, coordinating with government agencies, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across borders. The role demands strong knowledge of local and international customs regulations, excellent leadership skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

Job Function: 
•	Lead and manage the customs clearance team, ensuring timely and compliant processing of import and export shipments.
•	Ensure all documentation submitted to customs authorities is accurate, complete, and aligned with current legislation and company policies.
•	Liaise withCustoms, and other regulatory bodies to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and stay aligned with applicable laws and regulations.
•	Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, tariffs, and relevant legislative changes affecting freight movement.
•	Oversee classification of goods (HS codes), valuation, duty and VAT calculations, and permit/license requirements, including ITAC permits and customs codes.
•	Ensure the correct application of Incoterms and manage all bonded and transit documentation, including RIT and Road Bond acquittals.
•	Work collaboratively with internal teams (operations, sales, warehousing) and external stakeholders (clients, agents, border authorities) to optimize clearance processes.
•	Provide training and mentorship to both junior and senior customs staff, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of the Customs Tariff and procedures.
•	Monitor team performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement in speed, accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
•	Represent the company during audits or investigations related to customs compliance; ensure accurate record-keeping and audit readiness.
•	Handle and resolve client and network customs-related queries efficiently and professionally.
•	Manage and finalize all customs refund applications.
•	Maintain and update the Warehouse Bond Books weekly to ensure compliance and accuracy.
•	Organize and oversee all statutory customs-related matters, ensuring national consistency in processes and compliance.
•	Develop, implement, and enforce streamlined customs procedures across all branches; ensure alignment with SARS requirements and internal standards.
•	Conduct monthly reviews with national customs managers to align on compliance, performance, and procedural updates.
•	Facilitate regular communication, and provide feedback and regulatory updates to internal teams.
•	Ensure all branches operate in full compliance with codes and customs regulations, including conducting internal audits where necessary.
•	Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce delays or penalties.
•	Carry out any other delegated tasks as assigned by the repo&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications and Experience:
•	Matric certificate (required); relevant tertiary qualification in International Trade, Logistics, or Customs Compliance (preferred).
•	Minimum 5–7 years' experience in customs clearing within freight forwarding, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
•	In-depth understanding of customs laws, tariff schedules, and import/export procedures.
•	Proficient in customs systems such as EDI, CargoWise, or similar platforms.
•	Solid experience with import/export procedures via air, sea, and road.
•	Strong understanding of incoterms, bonded cargo, temporary imports/exports, and permits (e.g., ITAC, NRCS, etc.).

 The primary purpose of the Heavy Goods Trucks Driver is to transport 
containerized cargo safely and efficiently between designated locations. 
 This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods, maintaining

regulations. 
 The driver is also responsible for the proper handling, Daily inspections required 
to maintaining vehicle and equipment functionality. The driver is also responsible 
for reporting fault back to workshop for corrective action. 
 Additionally, the driver is responsible for providing professional and courteous 
service to clients and colleagues. 
MAIN MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES DETAILS: 
 Transport containerized cargo to and from designated locations. 
 Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. 
 Ensure all cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.
 Handle and stack containerized cargo properly. 
 Maintain accessibility within container stacks. 
 Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. 
 Maintain accurate records of cargo and delivery details. 
 Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure proper functioning and 
safety. 
 Follow designated routes and schedules provided by management. 
 Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with other drivers and clients. 
 Immediately alert relevant personnel of any detected anomalies or malfunctions 
in allocated equipment.

 Ordinary Certificate of Educations (s4). 
 Valid commercial driver's license (CE) 
 Minimum of 3 years' experience driving a heavy truck equipment transporting 
containerized cargo 
 Knowledgeable in operating heavy trucks equipment such as containerized 
cargo trucks (45 ft. and 50 ft.), flatbed trucks, reefers and chassis 
 Knowledgeable in weight distribution, vehicle maintenance, and road safety 
regulations 
 Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements 
 Ability to navigate GPS, maps, and other required devices 
 Ability to work independently, show initiative and adaptability 
 Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills 
 Reliable, dependable and punctual

The job demands the ability to sit for prolonged periods while driving. The driver

ability to bend, stoop, and twist as necessary to load and unload cargo. The job 
requires good vision, hearing, and a high level of alertness to ensure safe operations.
The heavy truck driver works long hours and may be required to work overnight, 
weekends, and holidays. The driver is exposed to various environmental 
conditions, including extreme weather conditions, fumes, and vibrations caused 
by the truck on the road. The driver must be able to work in a noisy environment

CONTEXTE DE RECRUTEMENT

PROFIL
